The INGICS iBS05 Tracking Beacon Tag is a compact Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) device designed for tracking assets, equipment and personnel through compatible Bluetooth receivers and gateways. Supporting Bluetooth 5 with LE Coded PHY, it transmits beacon advertisements that can be used for proximity-based monitoring and location awareness across connected facilities.
Powered by a single CR2032 coin-cell battery, the iBS05 offers up to 3 years of battery life at the manufacturer's specified 5-second advertising interval. Its BLE communication range reaches up to 100 metres in line-of-sight conditions, while its compact 38 × 38 × 9 mm housing and IPx7 water-resistance rating support unobtrusive deployment in a range of environments.
The beacon is suitable for warehouse asset identification, tools and equipment tracking, employee and visitor presence monitoring, and proximity-based access or zone monitoring. It works with compatible INGICS BLE gateways and other Bluetooth receiving systems; it is not a standalone GPS or LoRaWAN tracker. Actual coverage and battery endurance depend on the environment and advertising configuration.
