Refund Policy
Overview
Refund Policy for Electronics Components & Robotics Modules
TwoElectrons operates as a specialized supplier of electronic components, microcontrollers, sensors, robotics modules, industrial development boards, and prototyping hardware.
Due to the technical sensitivity of such products, this refund policy defines strict eligibility standards.
1. Nature of Products & Refund Limitations
Electronic components are:
- Highly voltage-sensitive
- Static-sensitive (ESD prone)
- Easily damaged by improper handling
- Often non-resalable once opened
Therefore, refunds are not equivalent to apparel or general consumer goods.
2. Eligible Refund Scenarios
Refund requests may be considered only under the following categories:
2.1 Transit Damage (Mandatory Proof Required)
Customer must:
- Record continuous unboxing video
- Report within 24 hours of delivery
- Provide images and order number
Without unboxing proof, claims may be rejected.
2.2 Incorrect Product Delivered
- Must report within 48 hours
- Product must remain unused
- Original packaging intact
2.3 Dead on Arrival (DOA)
For electronic modules that fail to power on:
- Video demonstration required
- Diagnostic process required
- Technical validation mandatory
Decision is made solely after engineering inspection.
3. Strictly Non-Refundable Cases
Refunds will not be processed for:
- Burnt ICs / microcontrollers
- Reverse polarity damage
- Over-voltage usage
- Soldered components
- Modified PCB boards
- Broken warranty seals
- Software/digital downloads
- Custom import orders
- Bulk procurement orders (unless defective)
4. Inspection & Validation Procedure
All returned electronics undergo:
- Visual inspection
- Electrical testing
- Firmware validation (if applicable)
- Damage trace analysis
Failure due to improper usage voids refund eligibility.
5. Refund Processing Timeline
If approved:
- UPI/Card/Net Banking: 5-7 business days
- Bank transfer: 3-7 business days
Refunds are processed only to original payment method.
6. Deductions
We reserve the right to deduct:
- Shipping charges
- Reverse pickup charges
- Payment gateway fees
- Restocking fee (if applicable)
7. Enterprise Limitation Clause
Maximum refund liability is limited to product purchase value only.
