BLE Gateways
BLE Gateways are devices designed to collect data from Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) nodes or beacons and transmit it to a central server or cloud platform. They serve as a bridge between short-range BLE devices and IP-based networks, extending the communication range and enabling real-time monitoring and control over larger areas than BLE alone can cover.
BLE gateways are widely used in indoor tracking, asset management, smart buildings, retail environments, and IoT deployments where numerous BLE devices operate simultaneously. They support multiple BLE connections, perform data aggregation, and often include edge processing, device management, and secure data transmission, ensuring reliable, scalable, and energy-efficient operation.
By enabling seamless integration of BLE nodes with cloud platforms or central management systems, BLE gateways provide organizations with accurate location tracking, device monitoring, and analytics capabilities. Modern BLE gateways are compact, energy-efficient, and highly scalable, making them ideal for large-scale IoT networks, supporting intelligent automation, operational efficiency, and data-driven decision-making across diverse environments.
