Product Description
The Milesight EG71 Building IoT Gateway is an industrial smart-building edge gateway integrating LoRaWAN®, wired building protocols and programmable I/O for simplified BMS, HVAC, lighting, smart metering and existing-building retrofit projects. A quad-core 1.5GHz 64-bit Arm Cortex-A53, 2GB DDR4 RAM and 32GB eMMC support local data processing, control logic and scalable integrations.
Its 8-channel half-duplex LoRaWAN® gateway connects about 2,000 nodes under manufacturer reporting assumptions. The EG71 can acquire data via RS485, BACnet, Modbus, KNX and supported M-Bus interfaces and provides digital/universal inputs, relay and analog outputs for building controllers. Multiple backhaul methods include Ethernet, Wi-Fi and cellular, with onboard 1.3-inch OLED display, NFC device onboarding and support for Node-RED, Python SDK and Docker.
Remote maintenance via Milesight Development Platform and 802.3af PoE/DIN-rail mounting simplify commercial deployment. Important: actual I/O counts, M-Bus implementation, cellular equipment and mains/power options must match the chosen hardware revision.
