PONO WTA05-5M Laser Distance Sensor — RS485, 0.05–5 m
The PONO WTA05-5M is a compact, high-accuracy industrial laser distance sensor for automation, logistics, robotics, machine positioning and non-contact measurement. With a 0.05 m to 5 m measurement range, ±10 mm accuracy and 5 mm repeatability, it measures distances to target surfaces in automated environments.
The sensor uses a 650 nm, Class 2 laser and can operate under ambient illumination up to 3 klux. Its default measurement frequency is 40 Hz and can be adjusted from 1 Hz up to 2,000 Hz for different sensing and control applications. An RS485 communication interface enables connection to industrial controllers, monitoring systems and gateways.
Designed for rugged installations, the sensor operates from a 12–30 V DC supply and features an IP65-rated enclosure. Its compact 41 × 38 mm footprint and 45 g sensor weight suit space-constrained installations.
