Wireless Temperature & Humidity Monitoring
Continuous logging with SMS/email alerts on threshold breach, and a 30-day trend per room.
Remote Monitoring & IoT · MI-RM-01
Battery-powered LoRaWAN sensors in your stores, cleanrooms and curing areas, one indoor gateway, and a dashboard that logs every reading and alerts you the moment a room drifts out of range.

Why clipboard logs miss the excursions that matter
The problem
Temperature and humidity in stores, cleanrooms and curing areas are still logged on a clipboard twice a shift. An excursion at 2 am is discovered at 8 am, after the batch, the adhesive or the pharma stock has already been compromised.
- Manual logs have gaps, transcription errors and no timestamp trust for audits
- Excursions are found hours later, after the damage is done
- No trend view: slow drifts from a failing AC or a leaking seal go unnoticed
- Auditors want continuous records, not a ledger
The solution
Three LoRaWAN temperature/humidity sensors, IP65 with five-plus years of battery, report every few minutes to an indoor gateway. A cloud dashboard keeps the full history, draws a 30-day trend per room and sends an SMS or email the moment a threshold is breached.
- Readings every 5–15 minutes with audit-ready timestamps
- Threshold alerts by SMS, email or WhatsApp with room name and value
- 30-day trend per room to catch slow drifts
- Export to CSV/PDF for GMP, ISO and customer audits

How wireless environmental monitoring works
- Mount. Stick or screw three sensors in the rooms that matter; no wiring.
- Connect. Plug in the gateway on Ethernet or Wi-Fi; sensors join automatically.
- Set limits. Enter the allowed band per room and who gets alerted.
- Prove. Run two weeks; review the trend and the alert log with QA.
Pilot architecture
3× T/H sensors (IP65 · 5-year battery) → LoRaWAN indoor gateway (Ethernet / Wi-Fi) → Cloud LNS + dashboard (The Things Stack / ChirpStack) → Alerts & reports (SMS · email · CSV export)
Three rooms on one gateway; scale to fifty rooms by adding sensors only.
Business case: alerts, audit records, staff time
Ranges are typical figures reported for this class of solution; your pilot establishes the numbers for your plant.
- Minutes from excursion to alert (versus hours with manual rounds)
- 100% of readings logged (no gaps, no transcription)
- Zero clipboard rounds (staff time returned to production)
- 2 – 3 days to a live pilot (three rooms, one gateway)
Who this is for: QA / QC heads, Stores and warehouse managers, Pharma & food, Adhesives, paints, composites, Electronics assembly (humidity-sensitive parts), Any plant with GMP or ISO storage conditions.
Illustrative case study
Illustrative scenario · not a client reference
A pharma formulation unit's raw-material store in Hyderabad (illustrative)
Set-up. Three sensors in the cold store, the excipient store and the packing hall, one gateway on the store office LAN, alerts to the QA executive on WhatsApp.
What happened. In week two the cold store crept 1.8 °C above limit overnight when a compressor cycled badly; QA received the alert at 01:40 and had maintenance on it before the morning shift. The plant replaced its twice-daily logbook with the dashboard export for the next customer audit.
- Pilot budget: ₹44,000 hardware
- Alert latency: < 10 min
- Logbook rounds removed: 2 per shift
FAQ
How long do the sensor batteries last?
Typically five years or more at a 10-minute reporting interval; the dashboard shows battery level so replacement is planned, not reactive.
Will LoRaWAN cover our whole store?
One indoor gateway typically covers several thousand square metres indoors; the pilot proves coverage in your building before you scale.
Is the data acceptable for audits?
Readings are timestamped at source and stored with the sensor ID, and can be exported to CSV or PDF; many plants use this in place of manual logbooks after a short validation period.
What does the ₹44,000 cover?
Three sensors, one gateway and mounting hardware on a free-tier dashboard. Installation, custom reports and provider services are quoted separately.
