The 3.2 Inch TFT LCD Touch Screen Display V4.0 for Raspberry Pi offers a bright, colourful 3.2-inch display with 240 × 320 pixels and individual RGB pixel control. Its attached resistive touchscreen detects finger or stylus presses across the screen.
The display includes a controller with RAM buffering to reduce the processing work required from the host. It communicates through SPI (Serial Peripheral Interface) and mounts directly onto compatible Raspberry Pi GPIO pins, drawing power through the GPIO connection without a separate display power supply.
This module provides a compact alternative to an HDMI display for compatible Raspberry Pi projects. LCD and touchscreen drivers must be installed and configured in the operating system; suitable drivers are provided for compatible custom Raspbian and Ubuntu images.
Power recommendation: Use a suitable 5V, 2A power adapter for the compatible Raspberry Pi setup. An insufficient PC USB power supply may prevent reliable startup.
