Product Description
The GW5000A is an industrial-grade outdoor LoRaWAN gateway designed for long-range, energy-efficient IoT communications. It combines LoRaWAN wireless networking with Ethernet, cellular 2G/3G/4G, Wi-Fi and GPS capabilities, enabling reliable connections between distributed sensors, network servers and cloud-based monitoring platforms.
Using a star-network topology, the gateway receives data from remote LoRaWAN end devices and forwards information through standard IP networks. Eight data channels and one control channel support multi-node IoT deployments, while Ethernet and 4G backhaul with WAN priority and cellular backup help maintain network connectivity.
Built for demanding outdoor installations, the GW5000A features an IP67-rated enclosure, industrial operating temperature range of −40°C to +80°C, 48 V PoE input (24–48 V specified) and wall or pole mounting. GPS connectivity supports positioning and time synchronisation required for Class B operation when configured appropriately.
The GW5000A is suitable for smart parking, fire-safety monitoring, livestock tracking, asset management, power-cable monitoring, smart street lighting, precision agriculture and environmental monitoring. Frequency configuration and LTE modem selection must match the local operating region and network deployment.
