The Official Raspberry Pi AI HAT+ 26 TOPS is an AI accelerator board designed for Raspberry Pi 5. Powered by the Hailo-8 neural processing unit, it delivers up to 26 trillion operations per second (TOPS) for supported machine-learning inference workloads, including computer vision and object detection.
Conforming to the Raspberry Pi HAT+ standard, it connects directly to Raspberry Pi 5’s PCIe interface for fast data transfer. Its compact design and efficient processing suit robotics, automation, smart cameras, edge computing and research projects.
By offloading supported neural-network processing from the CPU, the AI HAT+ helps Raspberry Pi 5 run demanding vision applications and multiple concurrent AI models. It integrates with Raspberry Pi OS and the Raspberry Pi camera software stack.
