VS370-868M Radar Human Presence Sensor combines 24 GHz millimeter-wave radar and passive infrared (PIR) sensing to detect the presence of people in indoor rooms, including people who are seated or making small movements.
The combination supports occupancy monitoring and intelligent building automation without taking photographs or recording identifiable images.
The radar offers a 150° detection angle , detecting moving occupants up to 7.5 m and slight movement up to 4.8 m , while the PIR provides a 110° sensing area with up to 7 m detection distance.
The manufacturer states a recognition rate of up to 99% under suitable conditions.
