Product Description
VVM485 - Isolated USB to RS485 Convertor by Vajravegha Mobility Pvt. Ltd. is an industrial serial interface converter for galvanically isolated communication between host computers, control equipment and RS485/TTL-connected devices. It supports USB or 5 V TTL serial input and RS485 or TTL serial output, making it suitable for industrial automation, Modbus networks and machine-to-machine communication.
With 1.5 kV DC input-to-output isolation, TVS transient protection, a self-recovery fuse and an original FT232RL USB interface chip, the VVM485 is designed to help protect sensitive electronics from common-ground potential differences and electrical transients. The unit supports serial communication speeds of up to 115200 baud, with LEDs for power, transmit and receive activity.
The converter is housed in a 110 × 50 × 50 mm ABS enclosure suitable for DIN-rail or wall mounting. Input is by USB Type-B data cable or 5 V TTL terminals, and output is through labelled RS485 (A+, B−, G) or TTL (GND, Tx, Rx) screw terminals. Only one input mode and one output mode should be used at a time. Made in India.
