Design Linked Incentive (DLI) Scheme

Overview

The DLI Scheme supports stages of semiconductor design and deployment for integrated circuits, chipsets, systems on chips, systems and IP cores, and related designs. C-DAC is the implementing agency.

Why explore it

A startup developing an indigenous sensing chip, edge-AI SoC or other semiconductor-linked design can examine the available design infrastructure and incentive tracks. This is a chip-design programme, not a general grant for all IoT products.

Key facts

The official DLI portal describes financial incentives, fiscal support for domestic companies, startups and MSMEs, and access to a national Electronic Design Automation tool grid.
