LoRaWAN Macro Proximity Gateway
The Lansitec 100-02386 Macro Proximity Gateway combines Bluetooth 5.0 and LoRaWAN connectivity for proximity alarming, indoor tracking and BLE-to-LoRaWAN data forwarding. When a Bluetooth beacon enters the configured proximity range, the gateway activates its buzzer and LED flash, then transmits the beacon ID and received signal strength indicator (RSSI) to a LoRaWAN gateway. The distance between devices is estimated from RSSI.
In addition to proximity detection, the unit functions as a Bluetooth gateway by collecting messages from nearby Bluetooth beacons and forwarding them through LoRaWAN. Users can configure the alarm range, alarm duration, heartbeat period, location reporting interval, Bluetooth receiving duration and message payload size to suit the application.
Part number 100-02386 is supplied with a built-in antenna, Bluetooth 5.0, an IP66 enclosure and a 76,000mAh Li-SOCl2 battery configuration. It is designed for applications such as hospital asset tracking, vehicle tracking and personnel tracking.
