B005 Bluetooth Beacon
The Lansitec B005 Bluetooth Beacon (Part No. 100-02395) is an IP68-rated, battery-powered Bluetooth 5.1 iBeacon for tracking assets and personnel in hospitals, warehouses, factories, vehicles and outdoor operations. It periodically broadcasts identification messages to compatible Bluetooth receivers and real-time location system (RTLS) gateways. Optional Angle of Arrival (AoA) support enables advanced positioning with compatible infrastructure.
Powered by two CR2477 lithium coin cells with 2,000 mAh combined capacity, the B005 offers an OEM-estimated battery life of up to five years at 0 dBm and a 500 ms advertising interval. The durable white polycarbonate enclosure measures 82 × 64 × 21 mm, weighs approximately 43 g, and supports configurable advertising intervals and radio output power. Optional temperature-monitoring and buzzer functions must be confirmed for the ordered variant.

- Bluetooth RTLS: Bluetooth 5.1 iBeacon messages can be received by compatible BLE gateways or anchors for identification and location-awareness applications.
- Outdoor Protection: IP68-rated white polycarbonate enclosure offers protection in dusty and wet environments. Select installations appropriate to the rated environmental conditions.
- Flexible Signal Configuration: Adjustable transmit power from -20 to +4 dBm and advertising intervals between 100 ms and 10 seconds allow coverage, update rate and battery draw to be balanced.
- Optional AoA Positioning: Compatible Angle of Arrival infrastructure supports improved positioning where the appropriate optional beacon and receiver setup is ordered.
