NB-IoT Helmet Sensor
The Lansitec 100-0NBM3 NB-IoT Helmet Sensor is a helmet-mounted worker safety and location monitoring device combining multi-constellation GNSS, Bluetooth 5.0 indoor tracking and NB-IoT/LTE-M cellular data communication. It supports helmet-wear sensing, fall detection, step counting and motion monitoring. With compatible tracking software, geo-fence, panic, zone-entry, overstay and search-and-rescue alarms assist organisations in monitoring personnel at construction sites, factories and industrial facilities.
The rugged 80 × 80 × 35 mm, approximately 90 g PC/ABS sensor is rated IP66 for ingress protection and IK10 for impact resistance. It uses a 1,200 mAh rechargeable Li-ion battery and supports magnetic charging, two control buttons, status LED, Bluetooth firmware updates and optional NFC. Lansitec lists GNSS precision better than 2.5 m CEP50 under reference conditions, and approximately 3 m Bluetooth-based indoor location precision with appropriate RTLS infrastructure. Battery service depends on radio coverage and reporting frequency; LTE-M/NB-IoT operation requires a compatible cellular network, activated SIM/eSIM and a supported MQTT/HTTP(S) platform. Protective helmet is not included.
