Product Description
The DFRobot Ultra-Compact ToF Laser Ranging Sensor is a 1g direct time-of-flight (dToF) distance sensor designed for fast, precise ranging in robotics, drones, IoT and compact automation systems. Using 940nm laser technology, it measures from 0.02m to 7.8m with typical ±4cm accuracy and a 50Hz refresh rate.
Its ultra-compact 19.0 × 12.0 × 10.3mm form factor, narrow 2–3° field of view and ambient-light resistance up to 100,000 lux make it suitable for obstacle avoidance, altitude hold, AGV navigation, smart traffic monitoring, material-level sensing and object counting. UART, I2C and IO interfaces support integration with Arduino, ESP32, Raspberry Pi and other embedded controllers.
Important wiring note: On the supplied cable, RED is GND and Black is VCC. Verify the power connection before use.
